Event Post
*Kotori had always thought of herself as someone who could deal with stress rather well. Since the incident at Heartland, she had been working extra hard on her fashion design business, getting it up and running again and making up for the time she lost. Even though she had taken on a lot, she thought it was something she could manage.
But over the last few weeks, she'd been feeling quite run down and just not like herself. Putting it down to stress, she had hoped to at least reach the holidays and then take a decent break, but then, in the last couple of days, she'd begun to get some on and off nausea that seemed to come from nowhere.
With that, she decided to take a few days off in the hopes of it helping her feel better.
Feeling like getting some fresh air might help, Kotori decided to take a walk in Domino City Park. It was a crisp, but sunny winter's day and she was dressed in a cute beige coat and pink scarf, but halfway through the walk, she began to get a nauseous feeling again, forcing her to take a seat on a nearby bench.
She was beginning to wonder if this wasn't stress after all and maybe something she should see a doctor about...
Feel free to talk to her and ask if she's okay!*

... You look unwell.

*She looks up at him.*
Sadly, it's because I am.
I was hoping a walk and getting some fresh air would help, but it hasn't.

::Mild sigh.::
How can I help then.
no subject
I'm not sure if there is anything you really can do.
Though, if you can get me a bottle of water from the nearest vending machine, that might help.

... with money.
*She reaches into the bag she has with her and takes out some money for the machine, handing it to him.*

I remember this having electrolytes, but I also got you the water.
::Plops it down next to you.::

*She gives him a small smile.*
Thank you. I really appreciate it.
*She opens the bottle of water and takes a small careful drink from it, making sure not to overdo it while her stomach wasn't feeling the best.*
I'll try the Ramune once the nauseous feeling passes a bit.

I mean, I guess it's just normal nausea? I just don't tend to feel nauseous very often.
It seems very on and off through the day, though it was pretty bad about 5am this morning.

Overwork or pregnancy. I am going to wager it's more likely severe overwork and mental anxiety, considering the Japanese Empire's noted obsession with working its employees to death.

...oh.

You're... Yuma's. Beau. Right?
no subject
*She looks over at her.*
Ah. Yes, I am.
Tsukumo, Kotori.
You're Akaba, Serena, right?
no subject
::Points to the patch, that says Serena in English, on her jacket.::
Doesn't mean I have to be an Akaba Serena.
::Saying this loud enough to disinterest onlookers, while slightly headjerking at the crowd. And winking at you. 'Yes but let's not announce that to the whole world.'.::
no subject
Ah. Right. Of course.
Sorry, I'm not really thinking straight at the moment.

Yeah, nothing's really changed with what I eat or anything.
I've just been feeling really run down the last few weeks and just generally not myself and the last few days I've been feeling randomly nauseous.
I have been working a lot, recently, so maybe it's just stress, but I dunno...

We're both women, the cold and weather hits us worse than it hits men.
no subject
Hmm, maybe... but I've never really reacted to cold weather like this before.
*She doesn't seem convinced it's that which is causing how she's feeling.*
no subject
no subject
Yeah, I probably should.
I'm going to take the next few days to rest and if I still don't feel any better, I'll go and see a doctor about it.
no subject
I'd hate to see a friend's Ess Oh get in trouble.
::Crosses her arms.::
no subject
*She rubs her head a little.*
Yeah. You're right.
I was frustrated that the incident at Heartland stopped me from running my business for a few months, so I've been working ridiculously hard on getting it back up and running. I probably took on a bit too much, though usually I deal okay with stress.
So maybe it's just that.
