*Kotori had always thought of herself as someone who could deal with stress rather well. Since the incident at Heartland, she had been working extra hard on her fashion design business, getting it up and running again and making up for the time she lost. Even though she had taken on a lot, she thought it was something she could manage.
But over the last few weeks, she'd been feeling quite run down and just not like herself. Putting it down to stress, she had hoped to at least reach the holidays and then take a decent break, but then, in the last couple of days, she'd begun to get some on and off nausea that seemed to come from nowhere.
With that, she decided to take a few days off in the hopes of it helping her feel better.
Feeling like getting some fresh air might help, Kotori decided to take a walk in Domino City Park. It was a crisp, but sunny winter's day and she was dressed in a cute beige coat and pink scarf, but halfway through the walk, she began to get a nauseous feeling again, forcing her to take a seat on a nearby bench.
She was beginning to wonder if this wasn't stress after all and maybe something she should see a doctor about...
Feel free to talk to her and ask if she's okay!*

Ah, well, I had been thinking about this being caused by overworking. I run my own business, but I've been trying to do the same amount of work I would do in a much smaller timespan, due to some issues earlier in the year... so I figured I was just burning myself out, and it still could be that...
...but, pregnancy isn't out of the realms of possibility either.
*She rubs her head.*
I've just been so busy, I hadn't even thought of it.

::Snorts.::

*She gives out a light laugh.*
Yes, I probably should.
Sorry for pulling you into that conversation, but thank you for listening and for getting me the drinks.

Oh, you're a police officer?
Well, I definitely appreciate the help. Thank you.

I imagine you're off duty at the moment, but I won't keep you any longer.
*With that, she picks up the bottle of water and the Ramune and stands up.*
Thankfully, I think I feel well enough at the moment to walk home.

Though, if you want to repay me... If you ever hear anything about the words "Vel", "Vril" or the Astrals before they became Astrals, it would be a major asset to my current investigation.
::Crosses his arms.::

*She looks at him curiously.*
Do you know Tsukumo, Yuma and Hope by any chance?

I figured you might if you knew about the Astrals.
I'm Tsukumo, Kotori. Yuma is my husband.

*She raises an eyebrow at him.*
Did I say something wrong?

He's capable of it just like anyone else, y'know.

*She lets out a small chuckle.*
Well, our personal life isn't of anyone else's concern but our own.
I don't think Yuma or Hope know much about the Astral's history, beyond Hope's own personal experience, but they'd both will probably be interested in your research.

::Deftly dodging the comments.::

*She picks up on him dodging them, but decides not to push it.*
I think I'll be fine. I don't live too far away.
Thank you, though.

Be careful, you never know what's lurking in the dark.
::Walks away, his duster jacket flapping dramatically despite a lack of wind.::

Alright. I will.
*She watches him leave, realizing that she never got his name. With that, she too leaves and begins heading back home.*
