*Kotori had always thought of herself as someone who could deal with stress rather well. Since the incident at Heartland, she had been working extra hard on her fashion design business, getting it up and running again and making up for the time she lost. Even though she had taken on a lot, she thought it was something she could manage.
But over the last few weeks, she'd been feeling quite run down and just not like herself. Putting it down to stress, she had hoped to at least reach the holidays and then take a decent break, but then, in the last couple of days, she'd begun to get some on and off nausea that seemed to come from nowhere.
With that, she decided to take a few days off in the hopes of it helping her feel better.
Feeling like getting some fresh air might help, Kotori decided to take a walk in Domino City Park. It was a crisp, but sunny winter's day and she was dressed in a cute beige coat and pink scarf, but halfway through the walk, she began to get a nauseous feeling again, forcing her to take a seat on a nearby bench.
She was beginning to wonder if this wasn't stress after all and maybe something she should see a doctor about...
Feel free to talk to her and ask if she's okay!*

Hmm, maybe... but I've never really reacted to cold weather like this before.
*She doesn't seem convinced it's that which is causing how she's feeling.*

Yeah, I probably should.
I'm going to take the next few days to rest and if I still don't feel any better, I'll go and see a doctor about it.

I'd hate to see a friend's Ess Oh get in trouble.

*She rubs her head a little.*
Yeah. You're right.
I was frustrated that the incident at Heartland stopped me from running my business for a few months, so I've been working ridiculously hard on getting it back up and running. I probably took on a bit too much, though usually I deal okay with stress.
So maybe it's just that.

*She gives her a small nod.*
I don't regret getting involved in what happened. If it wasn't for Yuma and I, Heartland could've become a nuclear wasteland, but, it did really uproot our lives for a while. We had to completely drop off the map and hide out at Kaikori. Even when we were able to return home, we had to really be careful being out and about for about a month or so.
Obviously, I couldn't run my business during that whole mess. I was just lucky that I had finished all my commissioned orders for the summer and was taking a short break at that time, but it meant I had a massive delay in taking and starting orders for the autumn and winter seasons, so I haven't had as much time to work on orders, even though I tried taking the same amount as I usually would.
I will get them finished, but it's been pretty much taking up most of my time.

But I'm not a small time entrepreneur.
no subject
Yeah, that's true.
Honestly, I should probably go and see a doctor sooner, rather than later. If they confirm I'm just overworking myself, then I can go from there and find a way to slow down a bit.

*She gives a nod.*
I really would like to have an assistant or even a business partner at some point, but the business is still growing and I don't think I'm at a point where I can do something like that at the moment.

It's fine. I imagine you're kept really busy with your own work.
I'll figure things out.

*She smiles back.*
Thank you. I really appreciate it.
Likewise, if you ever feel you need to talk to someone, always feel free to call me or send a message.

Lord knows I need more female friends.

If you ever find you have the time and want to meet up for lunch or anything, just let me know.

Anyways, I have a Duel to catch. Corporate decision-making and all.
::Hops up.::

Of course. Thankfully, I feel a little better now, so I probably should head home.

::Waves a hand as she starts walking.::

I'll see you around.
*With that, she gives a friendly wave to her and starts walking back home.*
