Event

*Since the holidays got in the way, this is a general event post for characters to meet and speak with Kotori.
Events can take place at any point during the two-week holiday (other than the weekend that came between them). Scenes can be discussed with me prior, or you can just choose the scene yourself if you have one in mind! Events can take place on Duel Academy Island, or in Domino City!

Please state whether the event takes place during Christmas week or New Years week.
Also feel free to state whether you'd like Yuma to be around or whether you'd rather me have him temporarily busy/distracted with something so your character can speak with Kotori without too much interruption from him.

*heey Kotori, sometime in the evening on the island, maybe you're walking back to the monorail to go back to Domino, you spot someone getting off the train.

It seems to be a very pale guy wearing all black clothing. Given how rare skin that pale is and what you might've heard from Yuma, you might be able to guess who he is!*

*As she sees Hitoshi getting off the train, she does remember Yuma's description of him and figures out who he must be. Smiling, as he approaches, Kotori greets him.*

Ah, hello! You're Hitoshi, right?

*oh god girl addressing me-- wait why does she know my name.*

Uh, yes? Yaku, Hitoshi. *he blinks. ... wait, you look a little familiar from the community...*

... Kotori?

Yes! *She smiles, happy that Hitoshi recognized her.* It's great to finally meet you!

Oh! Yeah, it's nice to finally meet you too. I guess I managed to get back in time?

*She nods* I'm here until the end of this week.

I was actually on my way back to Domino City, but there's a bit of time before the train leaves.

... would you want to talk, then?

Sure!

So how was your time with your family?

It was nice. It was nice to be back home. My mom, dad, and my grandmother were all fine, if... kinda worried about how I've been doing here, but it's all good.

*adjusts his scarf a little bit*

I'm kinda missing the colder weather back home though, already.

Ah, yes. I guess being used to the lower temperatures in Hokkaido, it's a bit of a shock with the weather here.

I'm finding it a shock at the temperature difference between here and Domino City.

*It does appear that she's carrying a coat in her arms, which she obviously needs to wear in Domino, but didn't have to wear on the island.*

It's jarring, more than anything else. Though I guess some people like the fact that it's warmer here on the island.

Hmm. I kind of glad I've gotten to experience both winter temperatures and the more warmer temperatures here. It's kind of like having the best of both for a holiday.

I guess that's a way to think of it. But I'd be happier with some consistency. But I guess it's just something I gotta get used to. *sighing lightly*

Still, uhm... How're you liking the school?

I like it. The island is much bigger than I thought it would be and the main school building is really nice both outside and in.

I didn't realize the dorm Yuma was in was so... run down though, but he doesn't seem to mind it.

...I also see that he wasn't kidding about the semi-active volcano...

... Have you gotten to see the Ra Yellow dorms?

I've gotten to see the outside of the dorm, but not the inside.

I could show you the inside of the dorm, but... you look like you're gonna be going back to the mainland, and the monorail stops running after a while, the later it is.

I've gotten stuck on the mainland before, because of that. *hanging his head*

Hm, well, I might be visiting the island once more before I leave so, maybe you could show it to me then?

S-sure. I can do that. If you come back, at least.

Did you like seeing the city, too?

*Kotori nods*

Hmm, yeah! I've been enjoying seeing the city and going to the different places there. Domino is such a nice city, but it's really different from how Heartland City looks.

What does Heartland City look like? I've never really seen anything about it...

Hmm, well it's a very large city. There is an outer part which is Heartland City and the inner part which is just called Heartland.

It's a very clean, rather computerized city. We even have mechanical Obots that tidy the streets, so I guess compared to cities like Domino, it looks sort of futuristic in a way.
It's also very colourful!

"Obots"? *he looks super unfamiliar with a term like that, but you guess that's understandable.*

I wish I could see pictures of it at least. It sounds interesting.

Hm, I have pictures of me and my friends back at Heartland on my D-Pad, but the city is only in the background of those, so you wouldn't be able to clearly see it.

Those might not be the best... do you plan on coming back to Domino or Duel Academy, at any time?
