Event
*Since the holidays got in the way, this is a general event post for characters to meet and speak with Kotori.
Events can take place at any point during the two-week holiday (other than the weekend that came between them). Scenes can be discussed with me prior, or you can just choose the scene yourself if you have one in mind! Events can take place on Duel Academy Island, or in Domino City!
Please state whether the event takes place during Christmas week or New Years week.
Also feel free to state whether you'd like Yuma to be around or whether you'd rather me have him temporarily busy/distracted with something so your character can speak with Kotori without too much interruption from him.

Re: [New Years Week]
Ah!
*Yuma greets Shinji with a nod, then curiously looks at the cards he's holding.*
What cards are you looking at?
Re: [New Years Week]
They're multi-attribute cards, kinda interesting. I hope I can manage to make them work.

I'm sure you can make them work somehow!!

*Kotori, meanwhile, clasps her hands as she looks at them.*
The lady on that card is really pretty! I really like how that armor looks too.

And I think she's one of the nicer designed ones of the set, yes, though the others have a similar theme. They're based off of the "Four Symbols of Chinese Constellations".

'The Four Symbols of Chinese Constellations'...?
So you mean the dragon, tortoise, tiger and the bird, right?

Of course, there's even more to things like Chinese Constellations, but this is the basic example of them and how these cards are based off of it.

I see!
I find it really interesting when the cards are based off something else.

Do you have a deck you like to run, miss Kotori?
(1/2)
I've never really dueled all that much, sadly. I've dabbled in it a bit, but it's never really clicked with me. I much prefer to watch other's duel.
Though if I ever do take it up, I do at least know the basics from watching others.
And I know what mistakes to avoid by watching Yuma all these years.

*Yuma glances at her, looking hilariously disgruntled at her last remark.*
O-Oi!! I didn't make that many mistakes!!
Besides, you said I'd gotten much better!
*Kotori is giggling at him. She was obviously teasing him and knew she'd get that reaction.*

Well, even if you don't like dueling, collecting is pretty fun too, I think. Especially if you like specific designs and the sort.
I have a pretty big collection, but I like all of the cards I have. It actually gets to be kinda hard to give enough focus to all of the possibilities.

Well, I have a load of spares from boosters that I keep in a box in my dorm room! Most I'm not gonna use so maybe I'll bring them tomorrow and you can pick out the ones you like!
It's the best way to start a collection!

Well then, I'll take a look at the spare cards Yuma has tomorrow.

I hope so! I like the idea of having a complete set of something!

I really hope I find a set I'd like to complete!
