Yuma shouldn't have to go through things like this.
He shouldn't have to be dealing with things like powers and demons that want to kill him and he shouldn't have the fate of the entire world on his shoulders either!

I wish I could be there for him, but I'm here in Heartland miles apart from him.

I love him so much. I don't want him to have to go through this anymore.

*Kotori rested her head back against his shoulder as he placed an arm around her. Slowly, she rested her hand on his chest, but as she did, her eyes noticed the Emporer's Key that hung around his neck.
Reaching up to it, she took the item in her hand to look at it.
This item had been in Yuma's life for so long, ever since his father gave it to him. He'd always seen it as his symbol of his 'kattobing', the ability to never give up, no matter what. It always drove him to try his best with everything, no matter how difficult. Now this item was connected to what was going on with him now, but she hoped that it could continue being the same symbol of strength and hope that it had been so far for him.
As these thoughts filtered through her head, Yuma lifted his hand and placed it around hers, holding it, which made her look up at him. His smile back reassured her that the item still held the same belief for him.

Gradually, she moved her head back and closed her eyes, allowing herself to relax next to him.

She knew that no matter what happened from now on, they would both try their very best.
