He shouldn't have to be dealing with things like powers and demons that want to kill him and he shouldn't have the fate of the entire world on his shoulders either!

I wish I could be there for him, but I'm here in Heartland miles apart from him.

I love him so much. I don't want him to have to go through this anymore.

Yes, I was. The Desperado group was holding me hostage to try and get him to leave the Academy...
... Beelze was terrifying and I didn't think he'd have to deal with beings like that again. If it wasn't for him gaining ZEXAL in that duel... he would of died.
I don't want him to get hurt like that again, but there's no way he can avoid facing these new demons.

This isn't something you can just 'get used to'! Am I really supposed to just 'get used to' him having to go out there and constantly risk his life because things like these demons keep trying to hurt people?! He shouldn't have to be doing anything like this!

*Sat on the steps of the Osiris Red male dorms, Yuma was looking at the Emperor's Key in his hand in deep thought. He had a lot of things running through his head. Dealing with the demons, Desdemona being injured, the entire possible link between the Numbers, him, the demons, the draws and rank-up cards... so much. He didn't even know where to begin, there were so many questions and so few answers.

And on top of that, the worry from knowing he'd have to face the demons and what they could have in store for him was lingering in his mind.

As he continued on, in thought, he sensed someone approaching him. They stopped some feet away and seemed to be waiting around, so he looked up to see who it was.

His eyes widened with surprise when he saw who was stood before him.*
