Happy New Year, everyone!
Yuma and I just got back from spending the New Year with our family in Heartland. It's always lovely to see everyone and spend time with them. Yuma's parents have gone back to travelling since they are no longer bound to the Astral World, so they brought everyone gifts from the places they've been to over the last year or so.
We also have a bit of an announcement to make.
Yuma and I are expecting our first child together later this year, due around late July or early August. We actually found out I was pregnant last month, but with me being busy with work and the holidays, I didn't have much time to announce it. Though I figured waiting a little bit was probably good too, since I'm still really early on.
We're both really excited, and a little bit anxious, but we're looking forward to getting to meet the baby when it arrives.

I'm definitely going to have to work out a balance with the baby and my business, but I should be able to bring them to my office space with me, at least until they're old enough to go to nursey for some of the day.

But just make sure your office space is like, babyproofed. Kids will get everywhere.

I'm hoping I won't have to take too much time off before and after the birth, but I know I'll have to really listen to my body on that one and it'll highly depend on how the birth goes and how much healing I need to do afterwards.
Haha, and yes, I'm absolutely looking at childproofing the office.
And the apartment. We're going to have to make sure a lot of Yuma's collection of artifacts that he got from his parents are out of the reach.

Because yeah, no artifacts in the range of the kid.

I had to tell them to absolutely make sure what they pick up on their adventures isn't dangerous, or cursed.

Which is why I'm going to have the last say on what we let into our apartment, and what gets buried in the attic of Yuma's family home in Heartland.

I'm pretty sure there is a chest of questionable items already in that attic that I've told Yuma to never bring to our apartment.

Kotori, I apologize being bossy, but can you ask your husband if I can take those to my Significant Other's workplace so he and his staff can make sure they don't turn into a tempermental teenage girl with world domination goals, and maybe have them circulate in museums.

To be fair, his sister who lives there, has really been wanting to clean that attic out, so this will be a great opportunity to do so.
These items would be much better off in museums, than in a dusty attic.
And... y'know, have someone make sure they aren't a danger to society.

Anyways, if you need any help, feel free to ask, Kotori.
I'm always available for advice.

I really appreciate it.
