*As the Wonder Quartet is taking place over parts of the city on the final day of the Duel Festival, Kotori has found herself at Mr. Heartland's office after he asked her to see her.
Knocking on the door beforehand to signal her arrival, she opens the door to his office when told to enter and slowly walks in.*

*She was all ready to argue back, but the last part of his sentence completely throws her off. She looks at him, looking rather dumbfounded for a moment, before she finds the ability to respond.*

*Kotori remains in shock for a moment, before she looks a little more angry at him.*

*As much as she says those words, her eyes are looking at the photo, trying to examine it from where she was stood. There wasn't anything really to prove it is fake from what she could see, but, she didn't want to believe that.... none of this could be real, right?*

*She looks around her as she watches the fly-like shadows move around the room. He could create them, just like she could create the light-based butterflies?
She remembered what she discussed with Souha the last time she talked to them, about her non-human heritage and how Souha questioned if it was linked to something insect based.
Looking back at Mr. Heartland, it is clear from her face that her doubts about him being her real father have now become very shaken and she's starting to second guess it.
She wasn't even sure what to think anymore. It almost felt like her entire life had just been a lie.*

*Kotori is quiet for a moment, letting his reply sink in, before taking a deep breath in an effort to calm down, though she felt completely emotionally shot from this.
Wiping away the tears that were forming in her eyes, she let out the breath.*
I'm sorry. For reacting the way I did, but, this...
... it's a lot to take in.
*She briefly looks over at the screen again, just for a small moment, before looking away. She moves her arms around herself.*
I... I have to go. I need to think about this for a bit.
*With that, she begins to walk slowly towards the door.*

She then pulls out her duel disk from her bag and places it on her arm.*

*Kotori finds herself wondering if that kind of weird magical change was even necessary (And how she was apparently related to someone like this), but she needed to focus on what she needed to do, so she quickly activates her duel disk.*
